English Class! – Recount Text

Hi! 21th August, my morning started with english class. The lesson is about Understanding Recount, What's Recount Text????? Let me explain what is Recount Text.

       Recount text is a text that is telling the reader about one story, action, or activity. Recount text is a text which retells event or experiences in the past.

   The Generic Structure of Recount Text is Orientation is about background information needed understand the textm. Second, Events is a series of events, ordered in a chronogical sequence. 

     The Language Features is, using the simple past tense, past continuous tense, past perfect tense, and past perfect continuous tense, using temporal sequence (first, then, after, that). Focus on specific participant, e.g. I (the writer), using action verb, e.g. went, stayed.
