English Lesson! - Procedure Text

Hi! 28th August, my morning started with english class. The lesson is about Procedure Text. What is Procedure Text????? Let me explain what is Procedure Text. 

     This text is to describe how something is achieved or made through a sequence of activities or certain steps.

Generic Structure of Procedure Text:

1. Goal ( For example : How to Make cookies )

2. Materials ( For example : Egg, Flour, Milk, etc ) 

3. Steps ( For example : First, put the egg, flour, and milk in a bowl then mix it ) 

Language Features of Procedure Text:

1. Using Perfect Tense ( express events that occur regularly, routinely, or are usually done in the present).

2. Using Imperative Sentences ( Kalimat Perintah ). 

3. Using Connectives Words ( Example: First, Second, Then, Finally ). 

4. Using Action Verbs ( Example: Cook, Make, Stir ).
